Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Airport - Anuradhapura

    Up on arrival you will warmly welcomed to Srilanka.
    After lunch proceed to Anuradhapura (first capital and undoubtedly the grandest city of ancient Sri Lanka) en route visit Munneshwaram temple one of the three celebrated Eshwarams of lord Shiva then proceed to Manaveri and visit the Manaweri Shrine. At Anuradhapura (guests will have to buy the entrance tickets) and do a city tour along with the ancient places. Anuradhapura is located in the North Central part of the Island. It is the home of two world heritage sites 1- Sri-Mahabodhi (sacred Bo-tree), under which the Buddha attained enlightenment, it is over 2,200 years old and is the oldest historically documented tree in the world. 2- Brazen Palace (2nd cent.B.C).

  • Day : 2 Anuradhapura – Trincomalee .

    After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee (located on the East Coast of the island). The city is built on a peninsula, which divides the inner and outer harbours. In the close vicinity of Trincomalee are some of the finest beaches of Sri Lanka.

  • Day : 3 Dambulla via Matale - Kandy

    After breakfast proceeds to Kandy en route at Matale visit herbal garden.
    Then proceed to Kandy for a city tour. The last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Drive around the Kandy, visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. Then visit the temple of the tooth relic – Sri DaladaMaligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple.
    Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day : 4 Kandy via Ramboda – Nuwara Eliya

    After breakfast visit a gem and jewelry museum
    Proceed for Nuwaraeliyaenrouth, tea factory and a garden and the beautiful water falls in Ramboda. at Ramboda visit the Hannuman Shrine which was dedicated to lord Hanuman and its believed to be the place where Hanumman been landed in the country in search of Sitha. Here we can observe the 18 feet Hanumman statute.
    Proceed for Nuwaraeliya.
    Proceed to Sithaeliya witness the legendry Sitha Amman temple in the AsokeVathika. Experience a boat tour at Gegory lake, visit Gayathri Amman temple
    Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day : 5 Nuwaraeliya - Colombo

    After breakfast proceeds to Colombo (6hrs journey) for shopping, tour.
    Dinner & Night stay at hotel.

  • Day : 6 Colombo

    After breakfast proceed for city tour in Colombo. It is filled with shopping malls, airline offices bazaars and interesting tourist attractions. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. During the city tour visit BMICH, Colonial style Town hall,old parliament complex replica of Aukana Buddha statue, Galle face green etc.
    In the evening visit Panchamuga Hanuman Temple.

  • Day : 7 Colombo – Airport

    After Breakfast proceed to Airport for departure.
